Your subscription
Your subscription contract will be fulfilled by Property Law UK (PLUK) which is a trading name of IQ Legal Training Ltd.
If placing your order on-line when you click “Subscribe and Pay” you will either see a page or receive an email if you have supplied your email address acknowledging that your order has been received successfully and is being processed. A legally binding contract is formed at this point.
We reserve the right not to accept or process your order for any reason. All orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by your payment card issuer. If we do not accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full immediately.
Subscription terms
Auto-renew Yearly Subscriptions are paid in full. Subscriptions will automatically renew annually.
Your subscription will start with the next available issue and will run for 10 issues.
Please note that the publication frequency may be subject to change but not the term of the subscription. Subscribers will be notified of any change to frequency.
Back issues are supplied as part of our extensive library.
We reserve the right not to fulfil and to cancel orders:
In the event of obvious inaccuracies in prices, except that we may fulfil your order at the correct price.
If we are unable to obtain payment authorisation from the issuer of your payment card or bank.
If incorrect information has been provided in order to obtain a cheaper subscription
Delivery
We will deliver the publication to the email address provided by you when you place your order. Subscriptions will start with the next available issue however you will have access to the website and library immediately. Publications are sent out on the last Wednesday of every month with the exception of August and December where there is not a publication. You agree that we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the magazines if you have supplied us with an incorrect email address. We reserve the right to refuse to re-send undelivered subscriptions without an obligation to refund you or any other person if the emails are returned as undeliverable to us and despite efforts to contact you, we do not receive correct email address details.
We will not be liable to you for any delay in delivery or non-delivery of publications in the following circumstances:
Where the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us.
Where such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control or the control of our subcontractors and agents, including but not restricted to war, electricity power failure, utilities failure, failure of telecommunications links, failure of transport infrastructure, fire, flood, government act, act of God, legislative constraints, strikes, labour disputes or malicious damage involving employees.
If you do not receive an issue, you must inform PLUK within 14 days from the last Wednesday of the month of publishing by emailing info@propertylawuk.net
Our liability to you in the event of the publication being lost in despatch or blocked by third party servers shall at our discretion, be limited either to replacement of the most recent missing issue or refund of the cost of the missing issue, to the extent permitted by law we exclude all other liability to you. Our exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of any of our employees or agents. These Terms and Conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Change of email address
To notify us of a change to the delivery email address, you will need to login to your online account and amend the account details accordingly.
Cancellations and refunds
All subscriptions carry with them a 14-day cooling off period. If you choose to cancel your subscription for any reason within 14 days of purchase, you will receive a full refund. Once a cancellation has been actioned you will no longer receive publications by email and access to subscription only website content will cease immediately. Free content may still be accessible at the company’s discretion.
No subscription is eligible for a refund within the minimum term (12 months) after the 14-day cooling off period has expired.
Subscriptions are non-transferable.
Auto-renewal subscriptions last for 12 months and will be renewed annually. Should you wish to cancel after the minimum term, you can do so 30 days before the subscription renews by logging onto your account.
Please note that all credit card refunds will be issued in sterling. Your Credit Card company will convert the sterling amount into your local currency and may charge an additional fee for completing the transaction. Payment
Prices displayed on the subscriptions section of the website will prevail at all times in relation to orders placed on-line. Prices quoted on screen include taxes (where applicable).
Property Law UK offers a range of Price plans on a tiered system basis. Subscriber accounts will be monitored to confirm that the correct information has been supplied at the time of purchase or renewal and this information may be queried with you should we believe it to be inaccurate. If information is found or believed (with suitable evidence) to be incorrect Property Law UK reserves the right to offer subscribers, the opportunity to amend their subscription accordingly and pay any excess monies owed in order to continue with the subscription. Property Law UK also reserves the rights to immediately terminate subscriptions in cases where it is found/believed that incorrect information has been provided in order to obtain a lower cost subscription. In cases such as this, Property Law UK subscribers will be notified in writing by email of any such findings and/or concerns either prior to or following termination of the subscription.
Subscribers to the Auto-renew Yearly Subscription paid in full plan will make a one-off payment and will we automatically collect your ongoing annual subscription every 12 months from purchase date.
Subscribers to the Auto-renew two-part Yearly Subscription plan will make an initial payment upon subscription and then we will automatically collect a further payment six months from that date; and will we automatically collect your ongoing annual subscription every 12 months from purchase date.
We reserve the right to increase our prices at any time after the first year of your subscription has elapsed and will notify you by email with 10 days’ notice of any such price increase.
Although we try to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of your order, we will inform you as soon as possible. You will have the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. We will refund you in full if you cancel the order and have already paid.
If you are under 18 or are not using your own credit/debit card to pay for the subscription, you must ask the permission of the credit/debit cardholder before entering the payment details. By clicking “Subscribe and Pay” you are confirming that you have obtained the express prior permission of the credit/debit card holder.
Personal information
We use the personal and transactional information (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, credit card details) (“Personal Information”) you supply to us in order to fulfil your subscription order. On the online order form, we will ask you about receiving details of our products and services and/or those of third parties which may be of interest to you. You should tick the relevant boxes to indicate whether you wish to receive such information.
Unless a member of our staff has been fraudulent or negligent, we will not be liable to you for any losses you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access by a third party to the information (including in particular credit/debit card details) you transmit when you place an order. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of your own credit/debit card details to avoid unauthorised use.
General
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. You hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based.
These Terms and Conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published by us in relation to any order placed by you with us.

Copyright and all intellectual property rights in materials remains vested in Property Law UK or (where appropriate) the editor/contributor.
Disclaimer
Editors, contributors, and Property Law UK cannot accept responsibility for loss occasioned to subscribers or any other person or organisation arising from any reliance, including reliance on any content for the purposes of giving advice to third parties.
Relevant law
These conditions shall be subject to English Law and disputes and/or differences arising shall be determined by proceedings in the English courts.
A person who is not a party to this agreement shall have no rights under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of its terms.
Refer-a-friend Offer
Discounts are limited to one use, per person and cannot be redeemed for cash value.
This offer is restricted to current members of PLUK with a valid subscription who have recommended a friend or colleague who has subsequently signed up for an annual subscription only.
Monthly subscriptions are exempt from this offer.
Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and must be used by the expiry date on the code.
This voucher is only valid on courses lead by Ian Quayle and some courses may be excluded at our discretion.
This offer can be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of the company.
The voucher can either be used as part payment towards higher priced training or full payment on any training of equal value.
Booking training of lesser value is permitted however, any remaining value not used will be forfeited.
Building Safety Act 2022 Book Offer
Only one book will be issued per new annual group subscription and it cannot be redeemed for cash value.
This offer is restricted to new members only who have signed up for one of the two subscriptions shown below on or after the 17.07.2024:Â
All other subscriptions types are exempt from this offer. Any existing subscriptions taken out before the 17.07.2024 are exempt from the offer as are all renewals.Â
This offer is available for a limited period only and can be withdrawn at any time at the discretion of the company. Once all three Building Safety Act 2022 books have been claimed the giveaway will close and no further entries will be taken.Â
Please note that the book prize will only be dispatched after the new subscription 14 day cooling off period has lapsed.
