Commercial Leases: Management Issues

During the life-time of a commercial lease issues arise from time to time on which property practitioners are called to advise and to deal. These can range from apparently straighforward licences to negotiating renewal leases, from serving a break notice to advising on derogation from grant. This course considers a number of the more complex areas that might be encountered. Topics covered include:
  • Easements in Leases including parking rights
  • Rights to install plant and equipment
  • Derogation from grant
  • Renewal leases- disregards
  • Break Notices
  • Assignment and underletting – current issues including refusal of consent
Suitable for commercial property practitioners
